Dear Dr. Soloway-
Just got back from scuba diving for the first time with my new eyes!! Once again, thanks for freeing me from myopia!
My second trip to NYC, the week after I last saw you, lasted a grand total of 24 hours before I returned to Italy so I was unable to come to your office. Everything seems to be fine with my eyes and with my vision.
I have been spreading word of my operation among friends and family in the US as well as here in Italy. The typical response I get is something like, "Wow, incredible. I want to do it, too, as soon as I have seen how your vision is after a few months." Such skeptics! : )
Just today our local Trento, Italy newspaper reported that our local hospital has bought the equipment for PRK and Lasik operations. I am sure that after a few years they may get the hang of it.... In the meantime I will continue referring my friends to you!
