Having worked closely with Dr. Soloway and the team at Vista Alliance Eye Care Associates, Dr. Avila's practice includes the full scope of primary eye care. She is an expert on fitting all types of contact lenses including soft, toric, rigid gas permeable, bifocal, monovision, and keratoconic lenses. Dr. Avila is a kind spirited doctor whose interests have also focused on humanitarian issues. She has dedicated time helping underserved populations through glaucoma screenings in Harlem sponsored by The Glaucoma Foundation. As a member of the Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity, she journeyed to Guatemala to examine and help distribute eyeglasses to thousands in local communities. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association. We are certain that those of you who have been cared for by her in the past or may be seen by her in the future will welcome her return to Vista |
