Pre-LASIK uncorrected vision, count fingers (< 20/800)
Pre-LASIK glasses prescription:
- Right eye -1.50 -5.00 x 25 20/30
- Left eye -1.75 -5.50 x 165 20/30
Post LASIK vision at one week:
20/20 right eye, 20/20 left eye
Post LASIK vision at one month:
20/15 right eye, 20/15 left eye!

Dear Dr. Soloway:
It's been just about a month since you have performed LASIK surgery on me. I can honestly say that you have opened up a whole new world for me. You see, I have been dependent on wearing glasses since I was four. As a child through adulthood, I went through school, sports, and just sitting by the pool, with extremely poor eyesight. My severe astigmatism and mild Myopia made everything a blur. Even the simplest things like watching the safety of my children from our front yard to the beaches, only now, can I truly say that I am confident of their well being. Although I was able to wear contact lenses, I was still restricted.
I would like to thank your staff for being so warm and considerate. But most of all, I'd like to thank you, Doctor Soloway, for the utmost professional care, knowledge, talent, and for changing my entire life.
